Block Barbeque

Even though the temperatures were as hot as the Grills, (35C), we enjoyed our first Block Barbeque last evening here in Triangle Gardens. Ate too much, as per usual, but it was great to meet so many of the neighbors here. Lots of lollygaggin' and good food. A nice, if not sultry evening, was enjoyed by all who attended. :D

Triangle Garden's Very Own Bambi

Our MHP has been home to a herd of Deer for many years. Before they developed this piece of property, Triangle Gardens MHP, it was farmland, bordering a creek. The deer were here first and consider it home. There is seldom in our day when we don't see them wandering around, and many a fawn has been born in and around the park; many of them on residents property.

This was the case this morning when a new fawn was discovered in our neighbor's driveway accross the street from us. We noticed a doe grazing there this morning, and the many gardeners that we are here, (myself included as I have Roses blooming at the moment, and they just love to chop 'em) were shooing her away without knowing she had a "little bundle of joy" nearby. So we'll just have to keep our blossoms caged up until the birthing season is done.

Here's Toby scoping out the "big dog", aka "Mama"

This is a shot just as my nextdoor neighbor is running down his drive way to chase her away. We didn't know!!!

How sweet is that little innocent face? :)

Here is Bambi at a couple weeks old with Mama :D
