Had a visit from my kids and my grandson today. Jeff, Wendy and Gage visited with us on another "Dog Day of Summer" with temperatures soaring to 36C and calm winds. The three spent most of the afternoon in the creek splashing and wading and just plain trying to stay cool. After supper, Gage had a special treat with a visit from the local volunteer Fire Department who came to clean our street. Great Day!

August 18, 2007 Christina Lake

Took a little trip to nearby Christina Lake, yesterday. One of the nicest lakes in BC, and the warmest tree-lined lake in Canada. Visited with our friends Sandy and Michel who are staying at Christina Pines Campground. Had a nice time "catching up". It was nice seeing them again.
Went to a dance at the local Legion last night. Paul Henderson was playing and it was excellant music. Had a nice time with friends from Fort Greenwood; Steve and Doreen, Herb and Ardy and Evelyn.
It's raining lightly this morning in Paradise... we sure need it.

Just Getting Started!
My first message on our Adventure blog is a sad one. Our dear friends, Sandy & Michel who were so intrumental in getting Fort Greenwood, and us, up and running, have left the Park and we will indeed miss them. But we won't lose contact and hope to visit with them lots; in person, e-mail and blogging. Good Luck Sandy and Michel. I have no doubt you'll do just fine.
Here's the link to our beautifuk park: www.fortgreenwood.com
It's a beautiful day here in Fort Geenwood, albeit a little lonely..sniff sniff. It's hard to believe that we have been living here on Lot "F" for a little more than three weeks already. Time and Summer is going by so fast.
